9 Days GF!
Welcome to the club NewB. Mixer is doing a great job and gives great encouragement and advice.
There is strength in numbers. I have tried to beat my addiction on many occasions and have failed so miserably. I am only 9 days gamble free but I have never felt so committed to recovery even after many weeks of being gamble free.
Join the challenge, post daily and we can beat this together!
Day 19 checking in.
A fifth of the way there tomorrow for me 🙂
Little milestones!...
Checking in day 26
Checking in on Day 41
Actually slept decent last night for first time in ages...No gambling & no desire to!
If anyone is stressing over debt, please please contact Stepchange, they are so helpful & non judgemental.
We CAN and We WILL.... I am 🙂

Thank you for checking in, and for your kind comments, as we head towards the end of the week! And we have a special rollcall for Katiekoo who has reached Day 50 GF, and yours truly too! Great stuff, Katiekoo, my partner in crime and with me at the very start of this challenge. Doing great!
And talking of 50, one of our number will reach 50 years old tomorrow! Sbb, I hope you're enjoying the last embers of your 40s tonight!
A short update from me today, but tomorrow I will talk about coping strategies as we navigate the joys and perils of payday, soon to be upon us if you're part of the salaried fraternity amongst us. Meantime, take care and tomorrow, please stay gambling free.

Congrats on 50!
Well done on your 50 days x
I love wakening up to a new day, each one is an amazing gift.
It offers us a wonderful reset button, which allows us to erase the events of the past from our memory and choose how we want to be for today.
How I begin my day mentally, generally will make my whole day or break it.
My attitude I choose to adopt has a strong effect of the likely outcome of the day.
So I take a moment to calm my mind, have gratitude and have a smile at how lucky I am.
I then remind myself of two things before getting on with my day:
1) I am a compulsive gambler and today regardless of what life throws at me I will not gamble.
2) That like everyone else I am held back by fear far more than limitations, so today I am going to choose to be brave.
I am 100 percent certain that my success will continue to grow as long as every morning I think, plan and do.
Im off to enjoy my very last day as a old young person as tomorrow i become a young old person 🙂
Have the day you want to have.

We Can, We Will, We do !
