Chatrooms

If you are logged in and unable to view a scheduled chatroom, check the page URL is community.gamcare.org.uk/chatrooms. If you have login/access issues, email forum.admin@gamcare.org.uk

Chatroom will appear once logged into website.

We run regular chatrooms, where users can use live text chat to talk about issues related to gambling harms with other people in similar situations, supported by one of our Advisers.

Our chatrooms are a safe and supportive environment. Some sessions might be fairly busy and intense; others will be quieter and more relaxed. Each session is moderated by one of our Advisers, who will welcome you to the chat and be on hand to guide everyone or answer questions if needed. Please read our Chatroom and Forum guidelines.

Our chatroom schedule will change from the 6th January 2025. Please see the below description and calendar above for updated times:

• • General Chatroom: 8pm-9pm everyday, Monday 1pm-2pm, Thursday 12pm-1pm, Friday 1pm-2pm, 11:30 am-12:30pm Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.
  • Themed Chatrooms: Wednesday at 6pm (Money theme) and Wednesday at 7pm (Relationship theme).
  • Family and Friends affected by gambling harms: Tuesday at 12pm and Thursday 6pm-8pm
  • Women’s Chatroom: Wednesday at 1pm and Tuesday 6pm-8pm
  • Early Recovery Support: Monday at 6pm
  • Monday Motivation: Monday at 7pm
