Hi all,
I've recently come across a site called DebtCamel, which has some really useful info regarding payday loan / debt recovery, and wondered whether anyone had any experience dealing with attempting to gain back refunds/interest on repeated payday loans taken out to feed gambling. In my case I lied about my expenditure when signing up to get payday loans, but considering I've been using some sites every month for years, and repeatedly use 5 payday loans at a time, surely their credit checks would have shown my lack of affordability?
Hi
I’ve applied from r another firm to do this for me. When I was ticking the boxes for which companies I’ve used I almost got a full house. Heard back from 2 firms so far one saying they will look into it within 8 weeks which I believe is the maximum time they have and the other denied ever having dealt with me so I’ve emailed claims company bank statement showing payments on em.
Ah okay, which firm did you use? I've heard varying stories of varying success rates with this, but I suppose it's worth a try. I've emailed about 15 companies now, the worst couple I'm in the thousands in interest alone, so hopefully something comes of it.
Affected by gambling?
