Hi everyone I am addicted to slots and have today decided to do something about it. I have a question tho for fellow gamblers/ex-gamblers over the year's I have joined so many online casinos so can not remember the ins and outs of them all but around November time I had an email from PayPal saying that netbet had put £5000 into my account. This was not any winnings but it turned out to be the same amount I had deposited while having the account.
I tried logging into the site (I think it was guts) but the account was closed. I didn't want to email them incase it was a error.
Do online casinos do this if you have not provided I'd etc.... Bythe way I had been depositing weekly into the account over several months so very out of the blue

Hi Pink,

An explanation but not necessarily the correct one for the refund!

When you self exclude from an online casino you cannot play on another site (ie a sister site, not quite sure who decided that casinos are female haha) that is also operated by that company.

The UK Gambling Commission is 'cracking down' on operators who allow this. The casino operators don't want to risk losing their licence/heavy fines so they may have refunded you the money because you may have already been self excluded from one of their other sites.

They basically give you back your deposits.
