The new editing on this forum is absolutely foooooooking ridiculous. We are adults for fooooooooks sake. Sick to death of practically every sentence being peppered with foooooooking *********************.
My understanding is you need to be over 18 to join this forum, please start treating us like the intelligent, mature , honourable people that we are and who need to use this means to offload and if this in your view is verbal diarrhea, tough, it is cathartic and cleansing for us and it makes a mockery having personal feelings deleted and replaced with the venerable *********.
I wonder how much of this will end up as ***** so it makes no sense whatsoever when read.

Thanks for your comment and I can understand your frustration as you feel our policy limits your freedom to express yourself.
We have a policy on this forum, which has always been in place, that foul and abusive language will be edited out when seen. For some people this language may be cathartic and self-expressive, for others it may not be and might mean something quite different and result in offence. Also, when feelings between members on the forum run high, it can be helpful to prevent such language being openly used.
We hope you can understand that we have to try and provide a good environment here for everyone who comes to the forum, or who just reads it from day to day.

I appreciate what you are saying but I am not only talking about this type of language and I also understand that some words can be seen as triggers but it is wiping out ordinary everyday words from threads that make them completely incoherent at times.
