Look forward to hearing how you get on but in the meantime, deal with bank and self exclusion by letter, easier than face to face. Take care.

Write a letter of complaint to their head office? They must have the technolgy available to limit your withdrawals. No good talking to a clerk in a local branch or by telephone, a letter gives the best chance. Say you have been refused, you see no reason why not, possibly threaten the ombudsman.

Hope that helps.

Im sure they werent looking at you or muttering anything about you. You are irrelevent to them, they couldnt care less about your account. They have their own life problems to think about rather than gossip about a stranger. You seem more interested in others opinions of you than your opinion of your self. Time to let your misplaced pride go.
The bank account you require can be researched & found in 2 minutes. They will give it to anyone.

I have seen you telling others to not be ashamed of who they are & that they struggle with addiction. Yet you seemed determind to not let anybody find or see anything about you. You have a disease of perception, so start working on your perspective. Get yourself the help that is out there. GA, counselling, your GP.
Easiest thing in the world to admit you have a problem. Much harder to accept you need to do things to get well.

I'm very disappointed to see all of your posts deleted...You had a lot of good stuff to say! I'm not sure if someone has upset you or you have had a blip (if you have you need to pick yourself up & start again) but if you didn't want to stick around you should have just left! If everyone did this, this forum would not be the fantastic place it is for those of us who need it!

Im fine thanks

Ive had an extremely childish fit because I want my words off the forum. Im not going to be exposed to accusations of hypocrisy. Then I realised Im going to upset people who care. My words suddenly feel twee and I am not a counsellor.

I have my own situation to sort out. I found typing helpful responses theraputic but I cant deal with this forum anymore. I have said a few times that Im better at giving advice than sorting myself out. I think typing those words helped me as well.

I know what I have to do now in terms of help and will go away and do it. I have never felt stronger because the real preventative measures are just starting. Now its a one to one situation.

Thanks for all the advice from the good people on here. Gamcare can tidy up the forum because I cant even delete a whole box without affecting the running order. Its done now and Im gone...account closed

My very best wishes to you all
