It sounds the debt you accumulated is unaffordable and it's putting you under a lot of stress. It would be a good idea to contact Step Change and talk to a financial advisor about how to arrange an affordable repayment plan with your lenders.

Of course, you have to look into the gambling problem so, this story is not repeated in the future. I would encourage you to get in touch with GamCare and have a chat with an advisor about getting help for quitting gambling.

I know it's easy for me to say but I would echo what the admin said and contact Stepchange asap and don't get yourself into more of a pickle by trying to win it back. Keep posting, there are some really supportive people on here.

Gamban is £10 for 1 year , is what i use and would reccomend has be the one main reason i am stil;l gamble free ... all the best.

I am also in a lot of debt. £22k to be exact! I was panicking everyday and the worry literally took control of my life. They also help you budget your money each month.

the most important thing though is to stop the gambling and get help with that. No amount of financial advice will matter if your still gambling. Remember no debt is unfixable you can get through this
