I've put in some robust measures to restrict my gambling activities. It's great to see it's all working and it's virtually impossible for me to gamble. I'm currently filling in my time with Spanish lessons; it's by no means as exciting as gambling, however I'm trying to use my time more constructive to achieve something positive. Whenever I have the desire to gamble I'll study some Spanish.
Adiós ?
Well done mate, the desire the temptation gone, i had a few stressful moments yesterday however it all went against gambling as my brains blaming gambling for my current situation and am trying to train my brain everything bad happens in my life from now on gambling is to blame has long has i have hate their no going back
Sounds like you are making good progress. Well done. Ive been fishing this morning. Just a small step. Getting out helps.
Thanks @rfbq09kaw1 however it terrifies me that next year my 5 years is up on GamStop. The odd thought crosses my mind that next year will be different, I'll be able to handle it if I take it up again and go slowly. Again it's just a thought but scary.

Hi @tazman I defo wouldn't say desire and temptation has gone, it's more like I've masked it with something else that is positive.Â
Glad you are coming to terms with your recovery... ✊
@oranje01 exactly your putting the effort in to wanting to change instead of blaming the addiction, and as u know it making a differenceÂ
