I have been gamble free for 11 years, just for fun I predicted world cup scores before the tournament started, no money involved and just with family. I guessed correctly each time, my wife is now telling me to put money on next time as we would have won a lot. I haven't and won't, but it woke up the old feeling for a second. Tournaments like this are a difficult time, take care everyone

Hope your doing ok, brilliant you are standing your fight and saying no. It can be hard when that feeling comes back, Iv had that feeling and continued with it and believe me it’s not worth it.

@tazman bit of a strange one. In short, if you have never been exposed as we have, to the horrors we create you could never understand, so she knows about the gambling, but thinks it was just a phase I went through. Luckily she has never experienced me disappearing to the bookies for hours on end, or lying, or planning my entire life around my next bet. God willing she never will.
