Well done for returning to the forum steve 50,

Over the years you have visited the forum following a relapse; it is very good that you're willing to talk about your relapses and to share peer support on the forum. I would also encourage you to consider using additional support to help you to sustain your recovery.

It is good that you've put blocks in place, there is a webpage on the GamCare website with more details about the various blocks available: http://www.gamcare.org.uk/get-advice/what-can-you-do/blocking-software#.VCA52fldXww

I wonder if you are using any support locally, and how you might feel about attending a GA meeting; if you'd like to find out more about Gamblers Anonymous, here is a link to their website which allows you to search for local meetings: http://www.gamblersanonymous.org.uk/index.php/ga-meetings/find-a-meeting

If you'd like a live group chat online with others in recovery, you could use the Community Chatrooms on the GamCare website: http://www.gamcare.org.uk/forum/gamcare-chatrooms-how-join-us

GamCare provides free 1-2-1 counselling appointments in many parts of Britain, if you'd like to find out more about that kind of help, you can call an adviser on the freephone 0808 8020 133 or the Netline, anytime between 8am and midnight.

If you like, you also use the Recovery Diaries section of the forum to help you to maintain your motivation and focus, or join one of the popular challenge threads to help you to continue to use the peer support on the forum: http://www.gamcare.org.uk/forum/2016-challenge

Take care,

Forum Admin.
