Hello dear Community,

i am a new member her,i am alpsko and i am 27 years old and wanted to ask you guys something. I am gambling addicted since years. (around 8 years). I just finished 5 days gambling, i played straight from morning untill the night and slept bad nights and only some hours. But today in the night i just woke up with a panic attack. And from that moment on i also had nausea and heart racing. I am in therapy and sadly had a relapse. And as far as i know my therapist told me that every single one of these symptoms are regarding the withdrawls. Is anyone here who also had these symtpoms after playing for to long/ or stopped gambling ?

Thank you very much.

Alpsko

Hello my friend

This is normal as you just can't stop thinking about your loses and what you have done . But it is too late , if you stop you can still recover if you continue, you can only lose more .

I don't know what your situation is and how much u lost recently but I'm in the same position.....

Need to stop now before it is too late

All the best my friend

@krmnc8ptlx Hello my dear stranger friend. Thank you for your answer, i appreciate your time.

The sad thing is, in the last 5 days i literally didnt lose money, i won alot of money, was lucky as hell. But still in the whole time even while wining, i was stressed over the moon. It started with headache, then anxiety attack and nausea (no appetite).

Yes i am in therapy and giving my best to stop, because these "withdrawl symptoms" are horrible. Literally feels like being on heroin withdrawls.

I hope you recover too bro.

Same thing happens to me but only if I lose . I can't sleep and I'm very tired on next day .

This time I'm trying to stop for good as even if I win I know the money will be gone within a week ...

I don't even spend quality time with my girlfriend anymore as I'm always on my phone, madness mate

@krmnc8ptlx Thats good to hear that you are trying to stop now. Ye gambling steals all the time from you. It literally gets all your attention.

I just am surprised how my body reacts. Its the third day today, i feel a bit better, but still not so good. I hope it gets over soon.
