Gambling doesn't just take money.
When I started it stole my money, sure. But once I got sucked in it quickly stole my self-respect and love for myself.
Money can be replaced once you stop gambling.
The important things take a lot longer to earn back.
If you've "only" lost £6000 then see that as a good investment in retaining your soul.
If it makes you feel any better I've lost at least 100k, maybe 200k, who knows? I've let go, it's gone. Good luck
