Today is day 1. I’m not in debt but will be if I carry on so self excluded and going to give it a big go to stop. Lots going on in my personal life which has affected my judgement. I take inspiration from weird fish and pink lady. They are true inspirations. I can do this. Hopefully.

Good luck on your journey, I have recently had to admit to my family that I have an addiction they have been amazing but deep down I know my husband is struggling, in someways I wish he would shout and scream but we both know that right now that would probably push me over the edge. I feel like I have lost everything literally my job, my identity, my sanity. I have reached out for support from professionals but this is so hard but I will not let this destroy me. I have not gambled for 10 weeks but the impact of all the years of doing so have come back to haunt me.

Day 4. So far so good. Think the anger and self disappointment are the major emotions dominating my thinking which is good. But I know much more difficult days lie ahead as those feelings inevitably subside. Controls in place though so feeling positive.
