Day 1 after many attempts to stop this time I know it’s for real I can’t win without stopping. I want a life free of gambling to excess.
How do I start a diary on here please
Hello Melody
Thanks for your interest in starting a diary.
One of our forums is called ‘recovery diaries’ and this is where you can start a journal to record your gambling recovery journey. This can be accessed here: https://community.gamcare.org.uk/forum/recovery-diaries/ .
You might also be interested in MyGamCare which is our online portal where you can create a personalised space to make change to your gambling behaviours. There are lots of tools and resources on here and you can set personalised goals as well as tracking your mood and gambling urges.
Great to have you with us!
Wishing you well,
Ellen

@d86fsocjiz take a look at Gordon Moody! I’ve just been on the retreat and I would highly recommend!!x
I have also just returned from the Gordon Moody retreat. It was really helpful to be around others like me and know I am not alone.
I now have 8 weeks of counselling and group sessions before returning to the retreat in March.
I was already 77 days gamble free and now feel more confident about my future.
Give them a call.
Hi
The best thing you can do for your well being is to become dedicated to the recovery programme.
I am a non religious person yet I was abale to find a very healthy life.
Just for today I do not want or need to gamble.
Just for today I do not want or need to lie to my self or other people.
Just for today I do not want or need to go back to a self destructive unhealthy addiction.
If you invest your time and effort in to the recovery programme you will find a much healthier life,
Dave L
