I've been a gambler for 35 years, which is nearly most of my life. I've lost alot of money ( though the amount become meaningless over time). I've recently got divorced because of this and have lost access to my 4 year daughter, I've lost many friends and other partners due to gambling ( there not much I haven't lost). I've even considered taking my own life it's got that bad. However I've started the long process to recovery by admitting that I need help. Whilst these forums/groups do an amazing job I would like to join a 24 hour what's app group where people can talk about their issues or life just in general. For me I need to find something to replace gambling and talking about life in general would help.
Does anybody know of any such what's app groups or similar forums ?
I know GA do them, but my nearest meeting is miles away and I don't have the transport or finances to get there ?
