hello everyone,
I am asian guy, have been gambling for 8 years. I dont have a good job, everything i earned, i lost all in casino. only in the year 2017, i made of debt of 20000euro but i was lucky i paid off in 2019. I am really addict to casino, roulette particularly. I have problem with my stomach, my intestine system, i have headache, i feel depressed all the time. I am now 4 weeks gambling free, now even i dont play, i have very often headache, my stomach upset, my colon feel so full. i have interest for nothing but casino. i dont know if those signals are withdrawal of the addiction. I am sure if i can play again, i will forget all those sickness. I dont dare to play online casino.Â
Does anyone has the symptoms of withdrawal same me? how long it stays?Â
Sorry for my bad English

Hello MingQui, welcome to the Forum.
Congratulations on becoming gamble free. It sounds like you have made some positive steps to stop gambling for the last 4 weeks.
Withdrawal to gambling effects each person differently and I am concerned about the things that you have mentioned about your health.
I recommend that you contact your GP urgently to discuss what you are experiencing. You may also find it helpful to speak with one of our advisers on our helpline as you mention that the withdrawal from gambling is effecting your mood and making you feel depressed.
Recovery from addiction is not an easy road and is not something you should be alone with, especially if it is making you feel this way.
Please do reach out to us for further support on our helpline on 0808 8020 133 or via our live chat option.
We look forward to speaking with you and hope that you are able to get some medical attention soon.
Regards,
Jo

Thank you so much
Till now i m 6 months gamble free. i have saved up to 40000Euro. i promise to my self not going back to casinos when they open again. I suffered so much from this sickness. I feel quite proud of my self but i still feel very bored all the time, i think only gambling make me happy, I am not interested in anthing but if someone talk about gambling, i will immedietly feel excited and talk lot ( normally i am very silent)
Congratulations Ming on the wonderful gamble free period. Don't let the rough days get you down too much if at all possible. There maybe more down days ahead but at least you'll be another day further away from gambling and have gained some emotional strength to deal with them better.
Good to hear you are feeling proud of yourself.
Kindest wishes
