Few years ago I used to always go to the Casino and play those slots machines. There were times it was fun as I got in the features really quick win big, lots of times I've been a complete idiot putting over £100 on a single machine to actually get in or not even. I started with 50p stakes then gradually increased to £1. If I remember the worst slot machine was the ones which gives you the chance to play the Fort Knox feature. Sat there playing for nearly 2 hours winning and losing still never got in that Fort Knox.
I've lost quite alot of money on those machines and I am really ashamed of myself for playing them. The amount I've lost I could of at least bought a new car ( under 10k ).
One day I just laided in bed staring at the ceiling and thought I've wasted too much money, knowing I wouldnt win my loses back and making me depressed each day. so I decided to do voluntary work near my community to take my mind off gambling and that was the best decision I made.
yep alan8.
They are lethal and not enough is mentioned about the devious way they are programmed. Its not just about an odds spin which is totally against you. Its all the features, false wins and near misses which alter the brain chemistry.
Youve been ignoring the odds and letting any win reinforce your feelings that its coming again and again. They dont!
I hope you will now self exclude. Its brilliant and gives me the psychological block I need. I wouldnt dare show my face in those places again.
Thats great what you are doing. I hope you will block everything now and lead a healthy life
All the best
