Hi, I am new on here, but have been reading the forum this week and find it very helpful.
I have not got time right now to write my story, but I intend to start a diary in the 'recovery diary forum' either later today or sometime tomorrow.
I'm feeling vulnerable today as I am off work Fri,Sat,Sun &Mon and have a bit of time on my hands. This is where I would usually reach for my laptop or phone and hit the betting sites.
Instead I am going for a run, going to gym, doing the garden, maybe nip for a pint after and have made myself a list of odd jobs. I really want to get through this weekend and am feeling positive, I suppose I'm looking for a bit of encouragement, but I realise I'm starting to ramble.
I will put my story on the diary thread today or tomorrow, but in the meantime a good luck or two would be nice.

It sounds like you need to get some blocking software in place just in case. Perhaps self exclude and remove access to money.
Basically put anything in place that'll make things easier for yourself, those urges in the early days can sneak up on you.
