So…after 8 years (26 now started as soon as I turned 18) I’ve finally decided enough is enough with too much on the line to lose, more than any amount of money could replace.
I don’t know if anyone else gets into or is in this cycle, of feeling like financially things are okay, and then all of a sudden something comes up, an expense, a bill, that you just don’t think you can afford to pay, or don’t want to feel you’re spending your own money on. And the only way you know how to make free money or live a ‘free’ life is to risk what you’ve earned for no gain.Â
I’ve put and am putting someone I care very much for through the hurt, she’s had to deal with this for over a year now, a world that she never knew existed and a world she doesn’t need to be a part of, I feel guilty that she sticks by me and pushes me to be better, is this normal for others?

Stop gambling mate it turns your life into HELL
Literally, into hell,I've been there for last 20 years of my life I stopped gambling now relapse now once a month once every month and half for a day lose 100 pounds or so and I don't gamble again. There is no cure to stop completely but me gamble once in 25-50 or more days is good enough for me for a meantime instead of losing hundreds everydayÂ
yes very normalÂ
Most gamblers have this kind of delusion of grandeur whereby they think they are smarter than the average joe because they know how to "win" money online
UK gambling twitter is absolutely rife with these types and most of them wind up on here in ruins
The gambling lifestyle is cleverly set up and can on occasions be presented as this "sharp world" where you can leverage your whit to beat the house
The problem is all of the games are mathematically certain to wipe you out over any sustained length of timeÂ
Most people cannot stop whilst they are up either and if they do they will be back on within a few hours
It becomes an obsessionÂ
