Checking in early for once! I'm not sure how many days I'm up to but I think it is around 42. Still a way to go to beat the gambling demon but I'm pleased to report I'm heading in the right direction.

Thanks Triangle, happy days, I wished and everyone else who have checked in with messages of support. Massive congratulations to everyone who have come so far. I think it's going to sound a little bit odd (but hey I think I'm a bit odd anyway ) but its strange,whenever I read the posts on here I kinda feel this wierd sense of elation?!. Even though I don't know anyone,seeing you guys who are 50, 100, 600+ days clean it makes me feel really uplifted. I suppose maybe I might be envisioning the day I can start posting the same amount of days;).
As it stands I'm checking in on the start of my 4 th day clean.

Sorry I missed last week, been for a well deserved 2 week holiday. A holiday that was all paid for without using credit cards or overdrafts. I even provided ALL of the spending money (the 50€ the other half contributed isn't worth mentioning) And for the first time in years I've returned to a bank account that's still got money in. I could get used to that!
Anyway still gambling free, 280 days.
