Checking in another week GF, days are going by quick and no urges to gamble this week. Been a few easy weeks, but i know it's always there in the background so won't take anything for granted

Good morning

I'd like to rejoin please. Had a few failed attempts these last few months - I do ok for a while, but every now and again I slip back into gambling for a while. It's usually when I'm off work with free time. I try my best to save up a few quid each month, mainly for leisure time such as holiday spending money or days out with the kids. This past month I've spent all of that, and more. It's selfish but I am addicted to the feelings I get when I gamble on slot machines. My kids don't miss out - lately I've taken to transferring balances from credit cards to free up cash. Risky and silly as I already have a mountain of gambling debt. It just seems that as soon as I have a built up a bit of savings, I go and spend it on a gambling binge and then have to borrow on credit to restore my monthly budget. I'm supposed to be climbing out of debt. But instead, these episodes mess up my plan to be debt free. It's like I lose my way for a few weeks or months and then eventually come to my senses and end up back here saying I'm going to stop for good. The reality is I don't even believe that myself anymore. Anyway I'm going to try and take one day at a time as they say. So I'm checking in on 6 days gamble free.

Hope others on here are all well. Nice to see the names I know still doing well on here and staying gamble free. Well done to those people on here with the will power smashing it this year on the challenge.
