Checking in, still gamble free and enjoying life much more

Checking in gf for the week, busy week filled with gardening and small home jobs, i'm now proud to say i have plants that have managed to keep alive for two weeks!

Just opened a new bank account with a very nice introductory interest rate to be used as a savings account for our next home improvement job, the account is in my name only but i will still hand the card over to the husband when i feel i need to, he also has access to all the internet banking details so he can randomly check when he wants to. He tells me he doesn't need to as I've been working really hard to debt bust (now debt free 4 months) and save and he feels I wouldn't want to throw it away but I've tried to explain that while I have every intention to remain gf I also recognise that i have moments where I'm not as strong and will hand my bank card over but all it takes is a moment to lose it all so having him check will be appreciated, I know remaining gf is ultimately my responsability but it would be nice if he just paid a small interest in his money.

I am aware how obsessive I have become about saving and have allocated each and every penny a job, I know exactly how much is in our account, what is for bills, clothes and the car etc... but I do worry especially as since paying off the debt there is more spare money, some days are much harder than others.....and i really should stick this in my diary!!!!!
