Day 15 checking in.

Sam that really annoyed me I don't know the full story I suppose but they just sound like a*******s, probably got s**t lives and they need to make others suffer to make themselves feel better. I'm lucky that my mates are understanding, they still mention gambling around me but they'll never encourage me and are very supportive of my choice. My advice ditch those wasters.

Sorry forgot to check in last week. Probably out celebrating that my credit score has increased for the first time in ages.

Benefit of not gambling massively outdo the negatives.

chartrom, I want to recognize you 408 gf days. After the year mark I suppose people think you've got it made but I have heard and seen enough to know... as you are saying, that cg is something to not ever be complacent about. thx. for being here and showing that this can be done. tara2

Thanks Tara, have to say have been struggling a bit lately and you are right even after 1 year plus some days are just as hard as in the beginning, but with good blocks in place it is possible .... keep going and getting through 1 day at a time and things can and will get better.

Sam301, I just want to congratulate you on not gambling on Tuesday night. That sounds like torture. Peer pressure is an awful thing. Sounds like those guys did not have your best interests at heart. I can also understand your need to get out and socialise after having isolated yourself. There has to be a better solution where you can get out, but with people who are going to be more considerate.

As ever, you're welcome to give us a call on the HelpLine or NetLine to talk things over, though it sounds like you did really well to resist.

Best wishes,

Deirdre
