It not easy. But it feels great that I have not gambled in 23 days. Having some little money saved feels wonderful. My only issue is paying back debts accumulated thru betting. It makes me sad knowing I wasted all that money.
But I will pay is back, those are the scars that will keep reminding me of the sickness I have.

Self forgiveness needs to be part of this healing.
If the debt is causing issues then seek some advice from a debt charity. Is the debt affordable or do you need help with it. Dont suffer with it, things can be done if its overwhelming or unaffordable.
If is is affordable make a plan to pay it back, sit and do a budget planner and stick to your budget gamble free.
I am here as i have slipped but in my past when i have stopped when it gets to the 1 month then 2 months of GF it is liberating.
Many years ago i had no other choice than to go bankrupt my debt repaying was 1500 pounds a month and my income was not much more it was impossible in the end. I blame myself but the people giving me finance let me borrow and borrow they have to take some blame too. They do a credit check and could see that i was in too deep and yet let it go on.
Everyones situation is different but be honest with your self write down what you get and what you pay out. If it is negative balance when u take the expenditure off the income you need some help
