I have searched and searched and not been able to find any software that will block gambling from my Android phone.
I tried Gamblock and all it did was corrupt my phone so I had to do a full re-set and lost loads of phone numbers and information.
I have betfilter on my PC and that works fine but I am struggling to find something that will work on my phone.
I have asked my provider to block adult sites but it has only worked for P**n not for gambling. It also only works if I access the internet through them. If I use wifi I can still access P**n sites as well so it is pretty useless.
I don't really want to block all internet access as I do use my phone quite a lot to go online. If needs be I could probably manage without it though!
Any advice will be gratefully received.
I had same problem with gamblock on my mobile, it conflicted with everything I done. I'm in process of self excluding from all mobile sites that I can find, it's a long way to go about it but I'm already excluded from 100s. I also emailed the isle of man Gibraltar and UK gambling commissions for a list of all the sites under their controller so I could exclude one by one and isle of man one responded today with a link naming all sites so this morning I've been busy excluding from tge ones I haven't already excluded from.
Wow that sounds like a big job. Good thing to do though if you have the patience. Can you self exclude from your phone?
I only ask because I have got betfilter on my pc so I can't log onto each site and self exclude. I am finding that having told my husband now I have much less desire to go into the gambling sites anyway but I do need to have the temptation removed just in case.

Most have the option to exclude or just email them saying you have a problem and wish to be excluded for life. I only do this on the ones that are mobile compatable as I have gamblock on my laptop. Yeah took ages but it's the only thing I can do to to block access. Good luck!!
try the app k9. I've just installed it. what I've done is put in a password I'll never remember left it at work on a piece of paper and hidden it away so that if I get the urge to play I'm not able to uninstall the app as I don't know the password to uninstall. great app by looks if it!!
Ok I'll give that a try later. When I looked at it briefly it seemed to suggest only available for download on your pc/laptop. I will ask my husband to choose the password then I'll have no chance of getting it.
