Basically I am writing this post to see if there are any success stories with people clearing debts. I am currently in £21k of debt from playing online slots. It has made me so stressed and depressed I am now on antidepressants. I dreamed of getting a mortgage and now it’s all lost. I have everything in place to help me on the road to recovery regarding the gambling, but I cannot get over the debt I am in!
I have finally started contacting my debtors and telling them I am struggling. I have managed to set up some repayment plans, and I am expecting a call from debt charity step change tomorrow for further help.
I just suppose I want some reassurance and advice from people who are tackling their debts successfully at the moment.
