I guess I've known for a whole I have a problem but have struggled to admit it. The feeling of losing has certainly overtook the feeling of winning. I have closed all my accounts and am desperate to get my life back on track, especially my finances. I have no one to talk as I don't want to disappoint anyone. Any advise is welcome.

Hi SuareZlfc

Well-done for taking the first step. It is harder than people think actually admitting you have a problem.

I also got desperate and realized I had a problem when finances were ruined. Unfortunately that is the case for most of us here. However bad things are continuing to gamble will only make it worse, that is the one thing I can guarantee.

There is a great deal of help and advise on the website. When I was at my wits end I took a chance and spoke to a net-line advisor and I can honestly say it was the best thing I did. Everyone is different all you need to do is decide how much you really want to stop and do everything you can to stop. This may mean putting yourself outside your comfort zone but if it means an end to this vicious cycle then believe me its worth it.

Good luck and keep posting, anything is possible if you put your mind to it!!
