Good evening all!
Sorry for the sexist heading! I may be a bit old fashioned (watching all the old men in the bookies with flat caps on when I was younger) but I honestly thought that it was a bloke thing with high stakes gambling?! The blokes would throw hundreds on the horses and the women would play the bingo for a few quid. But wait there’s 100’s of bingo adverts on the tv, they will give you 500% if your deposit! Better than the old bingo hall!!! But you can never withdraw it because you have to meet the 80 times limit!!!!youd need to play for a month non stop!!! Ah let’s play the slots at £20 spins, and your hooked!! No offence but it’s the same system that they used years ago, the bandits were always by the cashier in the bingo halls, nothing has changed, the only difference is that there’s no premises (other than a little flat in Gibraltar!!!) and a few online staff. The women are as addicted as the men nowadays! Really sorry if this has offended anyone it wasn’t meant to.
Much love
Daniel
A de-regulated industry was always going to target new markets and what better way than to sell gambling to the girls as a fun, social pastime with bright young things sat together on a cosy sofa punching the air after a 'win'? They will have invested very heavily in developing the right games to lure their punters from bingo and then in placing them in the right position to maximise their exposure. Nothing about the industry happens by accident.
Affected by gambling?
