I'm pleased to say I have not gambled in over 6 months now and am getting my life back on track, although there is still a (reasonably) long road ahead....But it doesn't help when you are scrolling through the TV guide at night and you see roulette on ITV and C5.
I had a look at both for about 10 minutes each (I had no urge to play whatsoever, even before viewing and even less after) They were both presented by swarmy, false, pretentous slimeballs making out they were your mates and it's great fun, with only a few mentions of gamble responsibly.
Both programs showed a list of 'winners' after each spin, but strangely enough never mentioned the hundreds of losers!!
These programs are sick and should not be allowed on TV, It's bad enough online gambling companies are allowed to adverstise their destuctive sites as it is!
Anyway, my rant is over and as I say, I had no desire to play at all so I am heartened by that.
I wish everyone all the best and implore you to remember that you are stronger and better than gambling and you deserve so much better, and it is in your power to stop and stay stopped for ever....Life has sooooooooooo much more to offer you.

I agree....it's no different than f**s..drugs..booze...but like you it doesn't make me want to play...in fact...the opposite...I look at adverts and think...what a croc of s**t ! Lol xx
