Hello Rashad,

If you have debt, you might also like to get some free expert debt advice from services like StepChange, PayPlan or the National Debtline; there are some other free debt advice services listed on our 'Links' page here: http://www.gamcare.org.uk/about-us/links-other-support-agencies

Another possible source of advice could be your local Citizens Advice Bureau, if you would prefer face-to-face advice.

You described yourself as 'Lazy' but I wonder if there are more complex reasons why you are struggling to return to work, for example do you need some psychological support to help you to build your confidence, motivation and enthusiasm, or do you need career advice or practical help or training for job searching. If you think the challenge is a mood or psychological issue you could talk with your doctor or a therapist about that. If you think you need career advice or local training, your local library might have details of local services that could help you in those ways.

Problem gambling and the difficulties it can create, can be stressful for the gambler, and this can have a negative impact on the gambler's self-confidence and mood. Please consider using local NHS services if you believe that mood or psychological issues are making it harder for you to get back into work.

From a recovery perspective, it can be helpful to occupy your time with activities that don't involve gambling and which you find purposeful, meaningful, rewarding or enjoyable.

Take care,
