Hi dolly.

Don't dwell on it. You can't change it. You've just got to move on from it. Finances sorted first. If he now knows work together to sort them out. Sounds sad but we have a spreadsheet so we can see all the debts etc going down. It gives you that boost. It's difficult but after a few weeks things just start to settle again.

I'm so proud of what I've done so far and in a few weeks you will be too.

Hi thanks. I haven't been checking in as much as I just seemed to get out of the habit but I just remembered and thought I should. I had my first real urge about 2 weeks ago. Really strange as I don't know where it came from. I seemed a bit stressed and flustered about money I think like i didn't have enough even though I'm more financially stable now than I have been for about 7 years. Luckily I couldnt do anything about it as my husband now checks everything which is good and i have no open accounts. I managed to stay strong and it seemed to go after a couple of days and have not had any other urges. I think I just use to give in to them too easily before. Didn't think about consequences like i do now. I'm proud of myself but know full well that this is a life long addiction and I'm not sure it will ever fully go but I'm now in more control.

Well done girl, just been reading the start of your diary and recognise all of those feelings from the weight of an addiction that is kept secret. So glad that everything is working out for you. Stay strong. xx
