Hi justaboytrying. The money is gone. There will be no winning it back, when you are a compulsive gambler the winning and losing become irrelevant. It will leave you sad and lonely. The normal way to make money is to earn it. There is help, GA is a great way, listen to those who have spent their lives wasted gambling. Sign up to gamstop, self exclude, download blocking software. Find someone close to tell and ask them to look after your money. Call gamcare and get counselling. Don't look back. Concentrate on today. It's tough, you'll think you can manage your gambling but you can't.
Everybody makes mistakes. On the bright side you admitted to yourself that you have a problem and you are seeking help. Look at people like me, I am ten years older than you and I was in denial about my addiction for a long time and kept losing tens of thousand of euros over the years.
I think you just need to accept that you made a mistake (mistakes happen to all of us) and move on from this. You still have plenty of time to replenish your bank account over the next few years.
losing the money isnt too much of an issue you can make/ earn more money
its when you start losing time / your life to gambling the real problems start
