So I made my first post here over 2 years ago (How time flies) but stupidly I thought I could do this on my own... I'm not gonna go into massive detail here as the majority is mentioned in said post. But long story short back then I was in the region of 20 - 30k debt due to my gambling..... It pains me to say that figure has now spun out of control and lets just say you can prob add a 0 onto those numbers now... I was going well for a while, and due to problems etc I turned back to gambling. I'm only 22 and I know i've ruined my life with all this, but this time I'm determined to get into gear and do what's right.

I've lost friends and one person who mattered most to me due to my gambling and inability to refrain from borrowing, and it's taken me ages to realise, but gambling has made me an extremely toxic person. I've taken the step to get blocking software (Which seems to work well to an extent) And i'm finding watching slots videos on youtube is helping a lot. (Bare in mind I wouldn't say it'll help everyone, as they can make it tempting to gamble. But I personally have always made a point to never sign up under an affiliate link as quite honestly I find it dirty and preying on the vunerable; so when they do the whole "Sign up under me" thing I never have got tempted anyway.)

So yeah, an all over the place post again, as you can tell writing and expressing my feelings aren't my strong point 😛 But I'm gonna try be active on here now and use it as a place where I can be with other people going through the same struggle. I don't imagine i'll ever completely get over this disease / addiction, and I don't imagine it'll be easy by any stretch. But I can take steps to drown it out and power through. Cheers 🙂
