Thank you both for your advice. I've done all I can to stop myself gambling and feel this is very much a last chance saloon. I've been wanting to try one to one counciling but I have no clue as to where to begin. I've been to GA meetings but they seem dominated by laddish types who seemed to know each other and I felt like an intruder to their private party. I received a cash sum today from my Mother so at least I'll be able to pay off some of my credit card. I feel terrible and have a great fear of the future.

Dear David1964,

You've posted that you're interested to know where you might be able to get 1-2-1 counselling appointments. Do feel welcome to call us on 0808 8020 133 or on our Netline, if you'd like to talk with an adviser to find out more about free GamCare counselling services near your area, so that you have more support for your recovery from problem gambling. You could also talk with your GP if you have been feeling anxious or depressed.

Take care,

Forum Admin.
