Hi there. I have had a problem with gambling for many years and about a month ago i tried to get myself self excluded from a famous internet website and they sent an email saying I have to ring up and request a form then send the form back to them. This seemed a bit complicated and since I requested via email to be self exluded I have lost a bit of money with them. Is there any way I can request the money back? I know I should not have gambled with them but the process seems so complicated. I even requested the form via email but they said they wouldnt do that and as we know, gamblers do not really think that far ahead. Is there any hope or do I have to do their complicated procedure and possible lose more money whilst i wait for their form?

gav, i am sorry i cant give you an answer on that one, but i am sure that there are many other people here who can.

my best suggestion is to download a site blocker

http://www.gamblock.com/

until you can get through the complicated process??

today is a good day, and i am living every moment to my full potential

I'm not sure how that all works either but as Rusty say's you could use blocking sofware and you could also send them an email stating that your aCompulsive Gambler who would like to close your account with immediate effect and wish for no further corespondence from them other than to acknowledge your request , also mention that if you are contacted again and as youv'e made this request any subsequent contact will result in you reporting them to the Gaming commision as they have a duty of responsibility , it might do the trick and if it does then change your email so you don't get bothered again :))
