This is a online petition i have set up just 20 minutes ago.
It is to step in and get the government to give the people a option to blanket self exclusion from all bookmakers across the country as right now it's physically impossible and has to be done 1 by 1. This will help everyone and will go a long way to putting a stop to so many horror storys and peoples lives been ruined across the UK. I will be going to the end of the earth for this to get 100,000 signatures for this to be brought up in parliment and with your help and the peoples help across the country and around you we will get this to parliment and no doubt if it gets there it will get passed! Just take 5 seconds of your time to sign this and we can start the fight to give power back to the people and take it away from the greedy money hungry bookmakers.

While it's true that there is not currently a way to blanket self-exclude from all bookmakers in the UK, you can self-exclude from more than one bookmaker in your area by contacting the Multi-Operator Self-Exclusion Service.
Casinos, bingo clubs and arcades all have joint self-exclusion schemes in place also. You can find out more at Opt In To Self-Exclude.
The Gambling Commission have also required the online gambling industry to provide a single point of contact for self exclusion from all UK registered gambling websites. The project is underway and they're actively looking for people to test the service. You can find out more at the GAMSTOP website.
