Feeling low today and fed up, i no why yesterday i had my first bet in nearly 2 weeks, i looked at my bank and thought ok i can afford to lose this £10 at the moment, luckily i won and have paid money owed to family straight back.. so all good, apart from today knowing i cant bet again has left me feeling really low. I wasnt buzzing when i won and wasnt feeling happy at all. Maybe that is my sign that i am deffo in a place to leave betting behind as a win didnt even fill me with joy.
I see it as a withdrawal process, your brain is craving something it can't have. Even a £10 bet keeps you in "gambling mode" though and until you leave it behind totally, that craving will continue.
