fiv tried to quit many times, this is another day one of another quit campaign.

I can avoid bookies, ignore pub gamblers, try to resist temptation of a football accumulator but my problem is with online slots, having an iPhone is like carrying a gambler with unlimited games and unlimited access to your money all in your pocket. I go through as many sites as I can registering with them and instantly self excluding, but there always seems to be more being made, as time goes by there are inevitably a whole new batch of sites I can register with and that seems to trip me up every time! I know the general response is that I should control myself but it's not always that easy, I think I'm doing so well then the next thing I know I'm gambling on my phone losing a fortune! I just wish that I could give my information forward to a general authority who could blacklist me from all gambling sites, maybe it's a bit of a dream but I just feel like it should be possible.

For now it's a case of trying my best to avoid everything gambling related, my goal is to go at least 6 months this time!

I am a new user I'm deeply concerned and extremely worried about my online gambling using slot machines I have lost around £1000 the last two weeks. I'm really frightened how much it has taken over my life.

Thank you for the reply Brownie889 I have looked into blocking software, I'm terrified about how much it has got a grip of me the last few months. I need to do something as it has really spiraled out of control. I'm so ashamed of myself!

Many of us have been there and you'll find alot of support on here, if you scroll down on the form page you can start a new topic and share your story for more people to see and help you with. Try take positive steps like you are doing with looking into software and maybe try self exclusion from the sites you use

All the best

I agree a phone with no internet will solve the problem and also be cheaper

Just report your debit cards / credit cards lost ! You can always get cash from your bank with ID ! When the replacement cards arrive, ditch them ! Live on cash for a while. You can get a basic bank account e.g. at Barclays or Co-op with a cashpoint / non-debit card. If you don't have any valid debit / credit cards, then you won't be able to fund any of these bloodsucking sites !
