Lso today I reached my one year mark being gambling free.

This time last year I was on the verge of losing everything. House, girlfriend and life! I was extremely suicidal and thought at least once a day about killing myself.

Subsequently I have attended 12 sessions of therapy in Glasgow and without the help and support of others around me I couldn't have done it.

For those that are reading and are struggling, please stick with it. I tried to stop a dozen times previously but never really had the urge too! If you want to stop then please seek help.

At times the last year has been the loneliest soulless time of my life. At others it's been genuinely the best year of my life! Knowing at the end of the month I can actually do things other than base it on the spin of s roulette table is such a good feeling!

Here's to the next year!

Thanks for the responses. It's not been easy nor has it been enjoyable but to be able to see light at the end of the tunnel is what's keeping me going.

Went out for a meal on Tuesday to celebrate. Something that previously, in the middle of the month, would have been nigh on impossible without the use of PayDay Loans.

Thanks again!
