I won't be treating myself with the yuck yucks on day 100...In fact, you've given me an idea to ponder over. Maybe I should treat myself by quitting. 😉

I'll try my hardest and let you know how I got on later. Thanks again, Feb.

All the best & stay strong

Alex

WEEK 11. DAY 71. It's another day, it's another "NO" (to Gambling)

A lovely bright and sunny (but still very cold) Easter Saturday!!

Looking forward to my family comming to visit for dinner tomorrow. Still got Easter Muffins to make yet! When I was gambling, I would struggle to have people round as there was always the money issue of paying for all the food and drink. It's nice to see therefore, another small part of the "OLD ME" returning, now that I am remaining gamble free!! Also, I found that although I have always been a very sociable person, gambling online, brought about long periods of me in isolation in my home, depriving me, my family and my friends of spending quality time with each other.

Tomorrow is going to be different: Easter Sunday - entertaining my family and feeding them up until they are as full as a frog!! - just how I like it and Feb being her own self again!!

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter and for those of you who are struggling at the moment, you will all be in my prayers tonight when I go to sleep.

Take care everyone.

Well done Feb, it is very true how gambling makes you feel isolated, shunning social events and turns you into a person that is not the real you.

Now the real you is back and you are reaping the rewards, have a lovely Easter with your family. The simple things in life are really precious.
