Day 66 free and feel great! Had a great Xmas with family and have a lot more money in my account then normal. Looking forward to going on a couple of dates with girls as well. Things are starting to look a lot more positive for me. It’s crazy how things change all of a sudden!

Follow the advice on here. Read other diaries, be under no illusions gambling does get worse regardless of what you wish to happen. In all honesty life is alot easier without gambling and more enjoyable but it does take time.

Day 69 gf- feel hungover today from a friends birthday last night. Feels great not gambling. Dave I would advise to keep yourself occupied with doing something else. The stress free element feels so good. Don’t put yourself through it again!

Day 71 today, looking forward to starting a new thread tomorrow for not gambling in 2019 and making my life a lot more positive. I read a quote yesterday where in life it’s not all about finding ourselves but actually creating ourselves. This has actually helped me realise in the past that gambling was me trying to find myself and want to have a better life with excitement but actually had the complete opposite. 2019 will be all about me creating myself to a better person so that I can treat my next girlfriend to everything she deserves and creating the best of me.
