As the title says.
I've let myself, my family and even my mother down.

I came on this forum full of hope even came off full of hope after my first visit.
Then went back to the fool ive been for years......its only £50 but as we all know it's never like that.
I really want out of this life style if you can call it that.

Magical thinking wont make that happen for you brother just wishing things will change will not make it so. What have you changed in your efforts to stop gambling?

Have you attended Gamblers Anonymous?
Have you handed over financial control?
Have you self excluded?
Have you downloaded blocking software to your devices?

All very easy things to do to give you the best chance on this long road called recovery

Dan

Hi dan
Well the answer is close to a big fat zero on most of your questions excluding ive just got the contact details for some one to one councilor.
My big poison is online slots. So need to get the blocker sorted.
But I definitely want to beat this

If you really want to stop you need to put it all in place. This addiction doesnt mess about brother. Deal with it or it will deal with you

Mate come on get your head in the game. This is not a rant, it's the honest feedback my wife gave to me... Look at what your life would be without all the people that surround you, literally on your own in constant pain of addiction, unable to pay your bills etc etc you get the picture.

I'm Only 6 days bet free - I'm no saint , I've never felt so positive about stopping.

A couple of steps that helped me- self exclusion , give your card to someone , allow yourself no money whatsoever , If its online like you say then exclude if you don't trust yourself then cancel your card. I Haven't lost my house , my family , I can still pay my mortgage BUT this is judgement day and IF I don't do anything about it I will lose it all... Come on dude jump on the ship !
