Day 2 has been good as well thanks 🙂

Yeah I think it's best way, if I can let go of all possible ways of betting/gambling then that's the best way!

I can do this

Well done in day 2 - you picked a great time to re start on New Year's Day :).

Wishing you strength and keep remembering how low you felt after the last loss and I think that if you do get the urge again do take up your cousins offer. Any blocks you can put in place are always a good idea.

Wishing you well on your recovery

Clare

Thanks Clare,

Day 3 has been good day, sorted a spreadsheet out for my finances, looking good after 5/6 months if I stick to my plan I should be saving a decent amount and life will be so much better for me!

Won't be on much now till Tuesday as last driving lesson tomorrow before my test on Monday, 3rd time lucky I hope after twice failing in stupid things! Be great start to 2015!

Hi D,

Well done on your continued abstinence from gambling, and also passing your driving test.

Thanks, 6 days now gamble free and feeling good this time round. Was little down earlier as my gambling last month has meant I haven't been able to afford things and pay certain things plus board which doesn't help parents out, but won't be happening again

Keep strong D,

Keep positive and try and focus on the future. I know the past hurts, but I am sure your parents will understand and help you if you need to discuss your feelings with them.

All the best

Cheers Ade,

Nice to have someone always reading and spurring me on and helping.

They do help and listen but they just see it as stupid by gambling and that I shkuld 'just stop' but at least they're trying

Always good to have something to concentrate on and your studying will certainly take up a lot of your time - I wish you well with that too.
