256 days and then I relapsed. Two day binge losing £80.

I just reached breaking point; stress with work and relationship break down. The only silver lining is that this relapse did not last too long and in the big picture £80 is not that much money.

Day 2 is today.

It must be tough to end a run like 256 days and there will be many here better qualified to offer words of support. From my point of view it seems that £80 is not too bad in the grand scheme of things and that if you are able to start afresh you can take it as a valuable lesson learned. Don't get me wrong I'm really just looking a day or two ahead at a time and if I were to give any thinking time to the idea that I'll NEVER place any kind of bet EVER again or my whole world will collapse is pretty terrifying!! Another way to look at it is that you've only gambled once in 258 days. Wishing you strength.

Hi Scothed,
First of all congratulations for going so long without gambling. That proves you can do it again.
Each day is worth the same as the last. For those who have gone years without gambling to those on their first day. All that counts is getting to the end of each day without gambling .
Star safe and strong.
