Here I go on my 4th attempt at kicking this habit, it's ruining my life and my 6 year relationship, he doesn't know I have this problem but we are struggling due to my ridiculous mood swings.God I hate myself for being in this situation!Around 20k in debt at 25, if something doesn't change soon I'll lose everything.I just can't stop playing online slots, I need to find the strength within myself to stop. There is no other option. I HAVE to quit gambling!!!!18/02/2015 was day one on my recovery.Sorry for my rant, will hopefully feel a bit more positive once I start paying some debts off, I just can't believe how stupid iv been......

You have to pick yourself believe in yourself. I also played online slots it is very addictive. Dont beat yourself up too much but you have to want this and if so the only thing that works for me is blocking everything you can . I was SO tempted last night as my daughter was on a sleepover (those are the worse nights!) but i couldnt as i have blocked myself. You can do this. It will be hard but keep busy. Get rid of computer if you have . I have moved mine downstairs so its not as easy to access with children around

Day 2

Thank you Poblwc for your support, my laptop has broke but I have a tablet and smartphone I use for gambling, will have to be strong. In the last 2 days of quitting I can't believe how gambling is everywhere! Tv ads, FB ads, I'm getting emails offering me free money etc it's disgusting! Will go on a self ban mission today, not finding things to hard atm but I have no money in the bank to gamble with anyway.Well done for last night, I can imagine the temptation you faced! Just think how awful you would feel today had you gambled, I hope you feel extremely proud instead.
