16 days is great and well done for acting upon advice at last (the capital letters).

Have you ever thought of not only reading other people's diaries but also helping them as well?

Helping other people may also help you in your continued recovery.

Baljit,

Finally! you have said something other than x number of days since my last bet.

Now describe to us what you will do once you return from India. Have you self excluded? are you going to go to Gamblers Anonymous? what has changed?

23 days bet free today so far did nearly slip up today i had £440 pounds cash on me which my brother owed me went in to the bookies to do a bet on football or horses but no kept my willpower and went out. Not even doing a penny if i was my normal self i would have lost the £440 cash instead paid some bills off .

Then went home on the computer just about to do some bets on the net but no my willpower did not let me.

I have done so well so far i am keeping it up.

Hiya

Well done! 23 days is a great acheivement. But as other members have advised. Self exclude from the bookies, and put blocking software on your computer. This will make life just that bit easier for you. Keep going!

Best Wishes Delgirl

Well done on the 23 days. Hopefully today's 'wobble' will have jolted you to think about how you are going to cope come payday. What are your plans (besides willpower)? Why won't you consider self-excluding.
