Evening Baljit,

Sorry you are feeling so low....that's gambling for you!

Perhaps you need to look at other forms of helping yourself baljit. Try netline, arrange for some counselling or try G.A. If you want to help yourself you will.

Thinking of you Baljit. I wish you all the best...and I honestly know how hard it is to kick this addiction.

Hi Baljit

You have to take this seriously mate, post everyday, it seems you just post when you have lost money. You have to want to give up gambling for good.

Why dont you try self exclusion from bookies?

This gambling takes no prisoners, it will destroy you, it really will. You have to STOP doing this to yourself!!

Baljit,

Sorry to hear you are still struggling.

If you are serious about giving up, you have to cut off all of your access to money for a while. If you are serious about this you will do it. If not, you will continue to go round in these circles.

Why do you still have access to hundreds of pounds? I'm not sure you are ready to give up yet! What have you done to help yourself?

I hope you find some answers to your problem soon.

Hi Baljit

Have you ever spoken to someone on the helpline here?

They are good people to speak to and understand the problems we face.

Thay can also send you some links to other support like GA meeting in your area, I know many find a life line with the meetings.

Don't give up trying it can take many attempts before e find our way.

Take care

Baljit, you say you need help but are you actually trying to help yourself? Why haven't you self-excluded? Do you actually ever read any of the posts on here, or just come on and post when you've lost all your money then disappear back to the bookies again? I'm torn between thinking that you do actually want help and that you're just a non-gambler having a wind-up.

Baljit,

SELF EXCLUDE!!!!! please!

Also give someone your bankcard. You should not have access to that kind of money at the moment.

Do you really want to quit gambling?

Hi Baljit,

i have only just read your dairy (the one created by Dearest Jasmine) and you are trying really hard with the battle at hand.

Keep it up mate.

I noticed with myself, the longer gambled out of control, the worse i became. As the years passed i really have become like that Green Monster the HULK. Once losing $200 was the end of my world but it would end there.... Fast forward to Now - i can't place a single cent on anything. Putting $5 on a Football Bet can and has started a chain reaction that lead to Losing $8000 in CHASING over 3 days. The following depression, work sick leave and family break down was the most horrible thing i have known..... If i was you Baljit, i would stop all forms of Gambling no matter how little, while you still have the choice....

Stay strong my friend.

Regards,

Dazza

Hi Jasmine... Your support throughout this site is quite amazing. Your words are very soothing and you have taken alot of your time out for everyone. I can not seem to find your Diary? Do you have one apart from this one?

Dazza
