A year on gamble free

The Big 100,

Well I am so proud to reach this day 100 days now gamble free and only thanks to everyones support on this site and my wife:)

So I thank you all for helping me to get to this stage of my journey. Ye i played a big part with a lot of determination and i think i have come on here nearly everyday. Just shows it works when you are determined and want to do something. If you really want something in life you got to work hard and fight hard to get there.

Now I have the oppurtunity to start fresh clean my debts up get out the army live a happy married life and look forard to making a family and something of my life instead of letting those horrible machines walk over me and ruin any chance of a good life.

As NoGambling says Onwards and upwards 🙂

Thanks charlotte for everything you have supported me since day 1 and i think we both have been on a massive journey with so much going on in these last 100 days. Now lets look forward to completing Flaggs 90 day challenge.

I will keep going and updating diary day by day because that is the best way for me to keep on top of not gambling if I stop doing that i just will stop caring and will probably get a load of urges come my way to gamble. My aim now is to get to 6 months then go from there to a year. I am so determined and will keep going strong and show everyone on this site that you can beat gambling 🙂

Take care everyone hope you all have a good weekend i am on another guard duty tomorrow 🙁 but get to see my lovely wife on sunday and monday 🙂

2 weeks today i am officially a free man and back out in the real world i become an ex soldier.

Day 104,

Well i am finally home happy about that. No more guard duty for me or wearing soldier uniform again. Less then 2 weeks and I will be home for good to love and support my wife everyday like she does me 🙂

A lot of positive things happening for me and I am just so glad that I have got myself on a really good track to do well and get the most out of life.

I think if you want it fight for it and do everything you can to get what you want. Because you can do anything if you put your heart and mind into it. We are all strong and all have the potential to stop gambling. Stay strong and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

the paintballing i was quite lucky with and managed to escape without bruises but there was one guy who did stag run in a tutu, you can imagine the bruises he woke up with.

anyway enough about me and my weekend really pleased that the end is almost nigh for you now, you have done a fantastic job in totally turning your life around and can almost look forward to reaping the rewards with your wife

Hey everyone sorry i been a stranger recently had a lot on my plate with coming to the end of my time in the army haven't been able to get on the internet. Thanks for all the posts of amazing support its really nice and just pushes me to do better and stick at this for as long as possible.

Well my time is coming to an end in the army and i am so excited to leave. I am going home tomorrow evening to take a load of kit home and then back to army on monday for one last week to sort everything then i am done friday 7th 🙂

Had no thoughts of gambling and now if i walk past a machine I don't even think about reaching for my pocket or anything they just there colourful pretty lights trying to draw someone else who has never played them like it did to me so many years ago. I am just glad i saw a stronger light in living and not ruining my life anymore.

I hope you all see that light that pulls us away from the dark gambling and lets put it behind us.

day 108/109,

Well it is technically friday so just thought i would put down both thursday and friday.

I went to the cinema and watched total recall was really good film then me and my wife hired a film called The lucky ones was a nice film cuddled up certainly beats being stuck in a bookies throwing all my money away a 3.50 hire film wouldnt even cover one bet for me so it just shows that you can have so much more fun with a lot less money.

I am so glad i managed to stop gambling and keep going with my gamble free days and my money now gets used to pay my debts so by january I can be debt free and spend my money on well deserved things rather then chuck it away.

I hope everyone is still going strong another week almost gone by to add to flaggs challenge some point in friday. Have a good weekend everyone.

My last weekend as a soldier because next weekend i am a free man.

I got an interview for a job at 12 30 tomorrow so wish me luck 🙂
