A year on gamble free

Well been real busy today went to gym this morning eating well. tidying settling my stuff back home and now everything is done for today I can chill out with my wife and enjoy a nice meal and watch the x factor lol.

Went and saw the possession last night and was a bit disappointed horrors just dont live upto the names anymore they need to come up with something original or actually scary.

Well the last week in the army and the first day is over and what a day i haven't stopped since i woke up at 3am to travel back to london and not slept since.

Then went to the gym after work and a run along the thames was tough and very hot but it definitely beats gambling any day.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and sticking to gamble free it is the way forward 🙂

im sure your days are half as long as mine LOL no seriously bud you are doing a fantastic job and your one of first diaries i look at as you started the ball rolling for me on day 1 of me logging in so if i can read about the great life you will have after the army ends next week thats good enough for me. how is the running going?? i picked up couple of niggles at five a side footy last couple weeks so havent been able to run properly yet which is shame cos got the half marathon in the not to distant future.

Hi all well i am now out of the army a free man :). Been a busy long week and last night my wife laid on a massive surprise do to celebrate me coming home for good so had a really good celebration 🙂

Still going strong not gambling and I will continue to not gamble because life is just so much better when I don't gamble. I am learning that money is important again it took a while after losing the value of money through gambling. But I am on the right track and money is spent wisely i do a budget plan each month now so all is good in my life right now and I can honestly say I am happy and ready to start living life and enjoy everyday with my wife family friends and try support people on here. 🙂

Hope everyone is going to have a brill weekend lovely weather for a bbq and a cider lol.

Day 119,

Start a new job today, a new chapter in my life. It feels weird being out the army already and it is only really day 1 as a civilian. But I like positive change so looking forward to putting all my skills I have learnt to the test and seeing how I get on with this new job today.

I Am so glad I have got this far in my road to recovery and Am putting gambling behind me and trying to make the most of my life and be a good husband a good family member a good friend and a good member of this forum.

Life is good at the moment and I plan to keep it that way. Life is a challenge and like an obstacle course you will have times when you hit a wall and just need someone there to help you over it. But you will also come across easier challenges as well. But it is so good to have so many people supporting each other on this site and we can all help each other over the obstacles that block our path to being gamble free.

Well 2ND day as a civvie and second day on my job wasn't too bad but wasn't brilliant it is very slow and alien to what I have known all my life and time in the army.

But I will adapt and overcome or just find a job that suits me better I am not a fan of commissioned best work so will just see how I get on and if I can get any money out of this. I am loving being able to see my wife everyday and get to see more of my family and friends so really happy about that.

I am in the gym most days now and thoughts of gambling just don't come around at all. I am really happy and still come on here I will start posting more on others diaries because it is important to share tips and how being gamble free really is the way forward.

Glad things are going well for ya. Didn't hang about on the job front, a good thing I suppose can't have you lazing about at home. Although that would've been me for sure lol. Glad all is well keep enjoying the gamble free and army free life.

Well had a nice early morning in the gym. I don't start work until half 10 so happy with that thought I would pop on here read some diaries and try and be helpful.

Hope everyone is going strong and having a good week. The weather has been nice for so long now it is like a late summer I don't know if this true for everywhere in England don't quote me on that 🙂

Great to see you still going strong! 121 days and counting! You are doing all the right things by tying up your time they gym is a great way to fill time and feel good about yourself! Just guard against the new job and the boredom I'm sure you will be fine but it's just something to keep an eye on!

I know the target is to complete the 90 day thread and we are all well on our way to achieving that! After that prob worth setting another little target mayb Xmas just to keep you focused!

I do ramble sometimes, hope you have a decent work day and keep doing what you are doing its working!
