They are saying that 13 it is the unlucky number; well, 13 it is my lucky number. 13 years ago my gambling went out of control. What I never thought it will happen is that gambling will take over my life and will control my decisions. And it happened. I couldn’t believe it. And it became a normality. Exactly one year ago it was the last time I ever placed a bet. I can not believe it. I am sure it will become a normality. I am proud of myself that gambling it is not controlling my mind anymore and I can take decisions like a normal human being. It is not me leaving gambling behind - it is me coming back to normal life, being ME the one I thought I got lost; but I was always there. It is me who I decide that I am here to spend my life doing anything else but not gambling.

We are all fighting every day. You need to stick with it. You need determination and consistency. And you need to come back here every single day (well, I missed just 2 or 3 days) and read what others say - it helped me.

What it helped me the most staying away from gambling it was believing in the fact that gambling won’t solve the problems you have them by gambling - it will create more problems. And it doesn’t matter how much you will win, it will never be enough.

This is life. Good and bad things happens in your life - not only good things how you will expect. No - life it is not like this: you have to learn to accept the good and the bad. It is not about you; it is not about why you and why it is happening to you; it is how you deal with what it’s happening to you. Good luck to everyone!

This is a massive achievenment mate, 1 day to 1 year shows it possible to abstain from this currently on day 461, only a fellow addict will understand how much this means🖖
